About the Artist
Haydn Bertelson began studying piano at the age of five. At nine, she had the great fortune to begin studying with Herbetina Morghen, a teacher and mentor who had a profound impact on Haydn's musical life. According to Herbetina, their musical lineage has a direct line to Ludwig Van Beethoven -- whose student's, student's, student taught Herbetina!
The winner of numerous piano competitions, Haydn has always had a reputation for an unusual degree of musicality and sensitivity. Whether it's a solo performance, or collaboration with fellow musicians, the audience is always moved by her soulful playing.
